Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools is actively recruiting individuals for employment for our Substitute Teacher, Educational Assistant, Admin Assistants and Custodial relief rosters for the 2018-19 school year.
Successful candidates will be required to work on a call-in basis. You choose what sites you would prefer to work at and our Substitute Booking system allows you the flexibility to take as many or few jobs as suits your current situation. The jobs are booked via our online booking system and/or by a phone call from the schools/sites. In accordance with Board Policy all applicants are required to provide a current Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check and a Child Intervention Check.
To be placed on our Substitute rosters we will require the following:
- Criminal Record Check (obtained within the past 6 months)
- Current Child Welfare Information check (obtained within the past 6 months)
- Resume with 3 references
- Substitute Application
- Direct Deposit Form
- TD1 Federal Tax Form
- TD1 Provincial Tax Form
- FOIP Records Disclosure Form
Teachers will need to submit the following:
- Copy of Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Copy of TQS
- Teaching Experience Letters
Your completed application package can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, faxed to 780-352-7886 or mailed/dropped off at Central Office at 5515 47A Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 3S3.
Upon receipt of all the required documentation you will be added to our Substitute List and provided a WRPS email account. In support of our Health & Safety program, you will be required to complete on-line Health & Safety courses and will be notified via your WRPS email account to complete any further scheduled courses.
