Additional Information:

The Wetaskiwin School Division requires a temporary full-time Teacher at Pigeon Lake Regional School. The assignment is Math 30-2, 20-3, CALM and Jr High Language Arts.

Preference will be given to incumbents possessing the following qualifications:

• B.Ed. with Major in Math
• Experience teaching JR and High School
• 1 to 2 years teaching experience
• Familiar with Professional Learning Community model
• Understanding of the Responding to Interventions philosophy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, teachers, parents/guardians
• An ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team
• Knowledge and experience using emerging technologies to inform practice and transform learning via Google Apps for Education and other cloud based apps
• Commitment to complete Health and Safety Training as prescribed by the Board
• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all students
• Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to students and their families
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
• Promote a safe and positive learning environments for all students
