What positive, student-centered ideas do you have for moving Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools forward in its vision of student success in the next four years?
All students need to be nurtured in all areas of life which includes academical, physical, social and spiritual. We need to recognize that every individual is different and has interests in different areas of society. The next generation needs to be prepared to take care of the community we are in. Students need to have the option to choose for Christian education.
What do you feel are the most important qualities you bring to the role of school trustee?
I have been involved in several school boards over the years. I have experience on several other boards as well. I served as a director on the AB Milk board for 8 years and in that capacity chaired several committees. Currently I am a director on the Organic Alberta Board, Youth for Christ and Lighthouse Fellowship.
What other information do you want people to know about you?
My wife and I are raising 9 kids and we own and operate an organic dairy farm just west of town for 18 years and have a heart to see this community flourish.
