Thank you to Pigeon Lake Regional and the community for supporting a Therapy/Wellness Dog in their school. Whiskey (a Labradoodle) is trained in the following: Reactivity, Behavior Fundamentals & Obedience as well as CAAWLS Certification. Whiskey's current tasks at Pigeon Lake Regional School include: reading with students, greeting students in the morning, hanging with students during lunch and one-to-one sessions with students as needed. He has also been recruited to help when our PLRS wellness coach is present. Whiskey's presence has put smiles on students' and staff's faces and has contributed to a positive atmosphere in the school, so much so that students and staff ask where he is when he is not there.
