The Council of School Councils (COSC) is a parent group comprised of School Council Chairs and representatives, two trustees, the Board Chair and the Superintendent of Schools. The purpose of COSC is to discuss educational issues and trends, specifically relating to Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools.

Mission: To provide a means of communication between School Councils and the Board of Trustees

Vision: Provide a safe, nurturing environment for students.

COSC facilitates cooperation and partnership among school councils to create a positive learning environment for Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools students.  In an environment of trust and cooperation, school council representatives will have an opportunity to provide input to influence decisions regarding policies, procedures and education issues in the division.

COSC Meetings fall on the last Wednesday evening of October, January, March, and May.
