AMA Car Donation

The Wetaskiwin Composite High School automotive program has been fortunate enough to receive two salvaged cars from AMA Insurance.  These cars are providing training opportunities for Wetaskiwin students interested in the automotive program.

“The program with AMA Insurance means that WCHS automotive students are getting hands-on opportunities to work on vehicles” says James McComb, automotive teacher at Wetaskiwin Composite High School.

AMA Insurance’s donated cars are written off collision vehicles that have been marked as “non-repairable” with Alberta Transportation. These cars are being utilized in the WCHS automotive program, to provide students with a real life experience of working on vehicles.
