For the month of February and into March, all students at Winfield Elementary will be spending time skating at our local Arena. The Arena, located steps away from the school, is available throughout the day. Each class is able to have the arena entirely to themselves!
This is a great opportunity for students to experience, select and refine their skills in an alternate environment. Some students are just learning, whereas others are able to skate quite well. Our more experienced skaters even have the chance to bring their sticks to pass and shoot a puck around the ice.
This has been made possible by a generous donation by the Winfield Ag Society. We greatly appreciate their support in making this experience available for all of our students.
