‘Tis the season, and we are busy celebrating!

The grade ¾ French Immersion class at École Parkdale School collected Food Bank donations to support our local food bank. For every donation that is brought in, the students will get a red bow to put on the tree in the front entrance. The tree is looked wonderful and full of Christmas spirit.

The grade four and grade 1-2 classes traveled to the Sunrise Seniors’ Home to perform their Christmas concert songs for the residents. Since the seniors do not always have the mobility to come to enjoy our Christmas concert, we enjoyed bringing them some Christmas cheer by performing in their lodge. After the performance, our grade four students spent some time reading to the residents.

The students and staff celebrated with a Christmas Concert which has was titled the “Hollywood Christmas Extravaganza”. For the Hollywood Christmas Extravaganza the classes chose their favorite Christmas movie. They sang songs and performed other parts of the movies they had chosen, such as Elf, The Santa Claus, and Polar Express. The Hollywood Christmas Extravaganza was held on Thursday, December 17th at 1:15 pm and 6:30 pm.

We wish all of you a peaceful and joyous holiday!
