The Board of Trustees would like you to join them for a discussion about the future of Lakedell and Pipestone Schools
The Board of Trustees of Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools has made the difficult decision to discuss education programs and services at Lakedell and Pipestone schools.
In light of declining student enrolments, the impact such low numbers can have on the quality of education, and the financial realities the school division is facing, the Board believes it must sit together with parents and community members to discuss this issue.
A public meeting is being held at Lakedell School on Wednesday February 12, 2014 and Pipestone School on Wednesday February 19, 2014. The meetings will be your opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about why possible school closure is being considered.
Please note all meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m.
