This morning Alberta Health Services notified Clear Vista School of a positive case of COVID-19 with a grade 8 student from that school (Clear Vista Letter to Families). The student is at home self-isolating, and we wish that student a speedy recovery.
The school administration, in conjunction with Division Office administration, worked efficiently to notify all staff and families of the school. All close contacts were reached and are at home to quarantine as required. AHS strongly recommends that these students and staff are tested.
This is a good reminder to all staff to continue to monitor for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 using the Alberta Health Daily Checklist. Please remember to verbally complete the checklist each day prior to attending school. If you have any of the symptoms of illness listed, please fill out the online Alberta Health Services COVID-19 self-assessment or call Health Link at 811, and stay home.
