Students of Pipestone School raised their heart rates while raising funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta. The school participates in this fundraiser annually and raises about $2000 every year. The families of Pipestone School are always great contributors to this campaign as they know the funds are put to a good use. Every one of us knows somebody that has been affected by heart disease or heart issues. We have families in our school that are affected first hand by heart disease and heart conditions. The students enjoy participating in the skipping activities that this fundraiser entails and they understand that funds raised could go toward helping someone they love.
