Orange Shirt Day September 30, 2016

Orange Shirt day is an annual event held each September 30th in remembrance of the Canadian Residential School system and the impact of this government policy on First Nations.

Our Schools will be participating in activities, learning, understanding and listening as we honor residential school survivors and their families.

"Orange Shirt Day is a day to honor and remember residential school survivors and their families.  "Every Child Matters" Orange Shirt Day is a day for survivors to tell their story and for us to listen with open hearts." Plyllis Webstad
