October 5, 1992, the current Principal Mr. Hitchcock and Vice-Principal Mr. Peter Murray of Norwood School had a time capsule sealed within the walls of the Norwood School

Today Friday, October 13, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. the capsules were opened after 25 years of being stored in the wall.

Many former staff, students and community members were present to travel back in time to 1992 to discover what the staff and students of Norwood School wanted to share with us in 2017.  Mr. Peter Murray, Vice-Principal in 1992 carried in the time capsules and helped Mr. Heinrichs, Principal 2017 open and display the items.

Each class provided a submission to the time capsule in 1992.

Writings, Pictures, a coin, and even a 8mm movie was included in the time capsule.

Students eagerly watched as each item was removed from the capsule.

A cake was served to former staff and students after the unveiling.  All items will be on display in the Norwood School Library.
