One School, One Book at Norwood School

The families at Norwood School started the One School, One Book program in January. They are reading A Rover's Story by Jasmine Warga.

With One School, One Book, a book is selected and each student in the school receives a copy to read at home as a family. At school, students celebrate and explore the novel with their classmates. This essential strategy reinforces reading instruction, increases parental involvement, bridges the home-school connection and builds a true community of readers.

A reading schedule has been shared with the Norwood School families including the pages read at school and the pages families are encouraged to read at home.
