The Norwood School ALS class delivers the local newspaper in our community.
Students deliver the paper with the assistance of staff on Wednesday's.
The skills taught through the delivery include street and stranger safety, physical literacy, map reading skills, numeracy, and fine motor skills.
As an added benefit students are able to increase their level of physical fitness. Furthermore, the students have the opportunity to be part of and contribute to the community.
The students truly enjoy this activity and look forward participating in the delivery of the paper each week.
