The Norwood School Choir lead by Mrs. Jane Gusdal and assisted by Mrs. Diane Fairhurst has been recommended to participate in the the Provincial Music Festival in Edmonton. On May 9, 2014 thirty-eight grade three to six students from Norwood School will be competing against several large city choirs in Edmonton. This year the Norwood School choir placed first with an outstanding score in the Wetaskiwin Music Festival.
