The Norwood School Choir has returned to performing in public this year. During the Christmas season the choir performed at both the Wetaskiwin Carol Festival, and for the residents at the Good Shepherd Home. There are over 30 students who participate in weekly rehearsals at lunch recess. The choir is led by Mrs. Schuurman-Olson, with help from Mrs. Satre. The choir is now preparing to perform at both the Wetaskiwin and Camrose Music Festivals. The Camrose Music Festival takes place from April 3-6, 2023. The Wetaskiwin Music Festival takes place from April 27-May 4, 2023. If they are successful there, they may even qualify for the Provincial Music Festival in Edmonton! The choir will also be performing at the Norwood School Spring Concert to be held in May.
