As announced by Premier Kenney yesterday, grades K-12 students are moving to at-home learning from May 7 - 21, 2021 with the plan to return to school on May 25, 2021.

The goal of this two-week shift is to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to then return to school to finish the year strong. Schools will determine the best method of instruction for their students. Most schools will use Google Classroom and Meets; whereas, others will coordinate paper learning packages for their students. Some schools in our division where there is no reliable internet access for families will utilize paper packages only.  In those situations, teachers will be available by telephone or email.

Some special education system programs will continue to have students attend in person. For students in these programs who normally ride the bus, transportation will be coordinated with families.

If you have questions about your child’s learning during this two-week program, please contact your school principal directly.
