The Wetaskiwin Ashoro Friendship Society ensures the cultural exchange between the City of Wetaskiwin and sister City of Ashoro. One component of it is the high school exchange program. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic, students have been unable to participate in the exchange program due to restrictions.
Japanese High School Students would like to maintain contact with Wetaskiwin, so they made posters of what life is like in Ashoro. Snippets of one of the posters (from the Grade 10 B-3 Class) are included below.
