Several species of insects, reptiles and amphibians were the guests of Wetaskiwin Home Education. When it comes to insects, reptiles and amphibians there are mixed reviews about their appeal.
The species that were brought to visit students and guests of Wetaskiwin Home Education by Butterfly Wings and Wishes from Leduc were met with wide eyed curiosity by some participants and sheer disgust or terror by others. Students were physically exposed to many varieties of insects, reptiles and amphibians, as well as, learned many facts and trivia about the animals.
All Home Education students in attendance went home with new knowledge and hopefully more appreciation for wildlife!!
