Google Expeditions! On November 16th we witnessed our students have a new experience. It was the first time working with and experiencing Google Expeditions using Virtual Reality viewers. Cordalee Fiveland arrived early in the morning to set up the classroom for this great opportunity for our students. Students extended their learning and understanding of various topic through participation in the virtual reality expeditions/tours. It was very interesting to hear students responses and witness them move their heads about to view the different locations in their viewer. The excitement was contagious, as we witnessed a tour explaining the size and formation of the Milky Way.

Students viewed the tours of Canada's Amazing Northern National Parks, 7 New Wonders of the World, Rocks, Minerals, and Gems, and Astronomy. All of the students participating in these virtual tours were amazed by the features of the tours and were able to experience far away places and experiences right from the comfort of a classroom at Falun School.
