QE Jr. High School - Positive Social Opportunities

Ecole Queen Elizabeth Junior High School is attempting to make forward strides in creating positive social opportunities.  The goal is to foster positive relationships between staff and students and as well students with students.  

The student body and staff were placed into “houses” which included 15 or 16 students of various grades, as well as, 1 or 2 staff members.  The houses represented a family aspect and competed as a group against the other 14 houses.  We have designated several school days where  the students were placed into their house and competed in several activities like tug of war, water relay, hula-hoop relay, ball toss and team catch. 

The teams have collect points and are striving to get to know each other and learning to work together as a collective group: staff and students.
