Ecole Queen Elizabeth Jr. High students who were able to attend the  January 31st Student Council sponsored dance recognized the value in spending time with their peers.   The gymnasium floor was rocking as the music was loud and the dancing was energetic.  The Ecole Queen Elisabeth Student Council had organized a dance for grade seven to nine students.

The evening also provided an opportunity to take part in some interactive games with the winners being awarded some great prizes. What a fantastic way to build school culture and spirit at Ecole Queen Elizabeth Jr. High School in Wetaskiwin.

Students, staff and parents rated the dance as a success and are looking forward to another dance on Friday, June 13th where the majority of the students dress up and celebrate the conclusion of another school year.

Commendations to the Student Council, Advisors and parents who were able to assist with the supervision, the Canteen workers and the staff volunteers.
