On July 21, 2020, the Alberta Government announced its school re-entry plan for September 2020. On August 4, 2020, the Alberta Government indicated that masks are mandatory for staff and all Grade 4 -12 students in areas where physical distancing cannot be maintained. The Alberta Government will supply two reusable masks for each student and staff member.
We note that some WRPS student school supplies lists include hand sanitizer and/or disinfectant wipes. WRPS is in the process of procuring appropriate hygiene and cleaning products and ask that parents not purchase these items.

To maximize physical distancing, WRPS is discouraging the use of water fountains, lockers, lockers, cubbies and coat hooks. Thus, in addition to the unique lists that your child's school website posted for each grade level, please also ensure your child has a refillable water bottle and a backpack to store their supplies in the classroom.
