Alder Flats school received an environmental grant. This gave the School funds to have three raised garden beds built. They were also able to purchase more perennials to fill the flower beds along the side of the school. Students helped with the weeding, maintenance of all the flower and garden boxes as well as the harvesting of the vegetables in the fall. Soup was made and enjoyed by many.
