Clear Vista School celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, 2021.
We had a day full of exciting activities, which included: Singing O Canada in Cree, watching videos of two local Indigenous Influencers, and starting our Heart Garden- in honour of Truth and Reconciliation in Canada.
We also tied orange ribbons on our newly created Reconciliation Tree! We topped the celebration off with a sweet treat for all staff and students, a heart-shaped cookie with orange sprinkles!
